Eileen, post op news.

I've just received news from Christopher, Eileen's neighbour, to say that Eileen's operation went well - he had a short visit with her last night around 8.30 (01.30UK) - she was still groggy from the surgery but looking well all things considered - she was still in ICU.

Christopher called the hospital this morning and Eileen was still asleep, he will call in to see her today.

I'll update again as soon as there is news....

Update 5.5.11

Eileen's neighbour visited Eileen today and said she looked well but still has pain in her stomach. She is having trouble sleeping as she can't get comfortable.

He spoke with the doctors yesterday evening and all reports are good so far.

Once again Christopher has kindly offered to print off any messages we would like to send Eileen ......... they will need to be posted in the next day or two so that I can get them to him.

I'll start a separate thread for your messages.

Thanks again for the update Mags - what a kind person Christopher is.

Very pleased that reports so far are good, and hopefully Eileen will be able to find a comfortable position and get some sleep, which will do her a power of good.
