Good morning Thursday

Good morning everyone, decidedly cooler this morning after some welcome overnight rain but a dry forecast anyway.

Just the dogs to walk first thing then I've got to pull and prepare some rhubarb for the freezer. This afternoon I'm going over to my Mum's to paint the new door which I replaced for her a couple of days ago.

Good Morning Everyone!

Barry that is a lovely photo - geese are good parents.

Cooler here too - due to be a cloudy day then rain in the evening.

Just a few chores to do then I intend to come to grips with my foiling machine. The instructions that came with it are very basic - but there are some superb tutorials on YouTube. These I will watch with paper and pen to hand - and write my own instruction manual !

Pouring of rain here, I suppose that's the end of the sun now.

Good morning all

Dull here in Yorkshire but dry so that's good at least.

Starting a diet today after a week of eating out I'm feeling a bit bloated so I might fast today well not fast exactly but 500 calories max and lots of water. I like to start the day with good intentions...see if I can stick to it.

PS for anyone curious about the news my pal had yesterday and wanted to keep until we met it was something and nothing about a pal from years ago who she bumped into...disappointing really My friend has a sense of the dramatic though and her recounting the experience was very entertaining

I'm spending the day in Nottingham with a friend I met on another forum. We're looking forward to a visit to the theatre tonight to see The Jersey Boys.

I'm expecting to be dancing in the aisles...

Good morning everyone a bright and breezy day for the start of The Spring Flower Show nearby . My son mentioned going but it gets so busy these days and I am not good with crowds.

I am going to mow the front lawn and clean the windows.

Morning all, I am thinking that I may get weather for all four seasons today.
When I got up at 5am, it was a typical spring sunrise and a bright sun but not hot.
By the time I went to get washed and dressed it had changed to summer, bright warm sunshine...and hot enough to make me wear a light skirt when I normally wear trousers!

It has now gone more like Autumn, clouds with quite a cool breeze.

I really hope I am not going to see any winter snow later
