Should grandparents have rights?

I don't think grandparents should have an absolute right to contact with their grandchildren. Some grandparents are good, decent people, others are evil like my sadistic paternal grandmother.

family rows make it very unpleasant and allot of tension. this is no easy decision and is far from simple. love is so close to hate.
