Easter Flowers

Church services included beautiful flowers placed throughout the church. I captured a few of the arrangements.

I have more fun walking around my new church's entrance foyer capturing the beautiful flower arrangements they put out each week. My state of Oregon produces more commercially grown flowers than any other state in the United States. It's tulip season and they are everywhere in every color of the rainbow. In less than a month the roses will be up and I'll be spending my days at the Portland Rose test garden. It's open & free to the public. Know that in retirement I'll be spending lots of time there this year. I live less than 10 miles away.

When I show the photos of the church flowers, all taken with my little pocket digital camera, nobody can believe they are literally all around them. They never stop to see the beauty surrounding them. I do.
