No it doesn't annoy me because if they say it then it only means something if they really mean it. Otherwise it's just words. You can tell if someone is polite or grateful by their manner.In fact "please" and "thank you" can be used in an aggressive way depending on the inflection.

My parents did the same to me as well.

anyway you didn't mention sorry, just please and thank you! More people I come across say sorry in a sincere way than please and thank you. I always say it myself if I do anything to encroach on the comfort of others.
