do we need a new law richard osborn brooks/ tony martin

do we need a new law richard osborn brooks/ tony martin

history is repeating
its coming through clear on my sony
a bit of the GM crop for cheating
a new richard law won't be fony.
at 70 you are venerable
but we all have the rascal
to protect his sick wife is honorable
if this charge goes ahead its farcical.
from the community is support
they no there is no mystery
installing a security gate is on report
only goodness is on the "brooks" history.
why do we have armed police
stations westministers or at the palace
those who enter we have to cease
got to be instant with intent and malice.
i'm appealing for help and clarity
we have to support and be decent
richard osborn brooks needs no sympathy or charity
did justice caught up with henry vincent.

Re: do we need a new law richard osborn brooks/ tony martin

Yes we do, to a point anyway.
We can't go around shooting and stabbing everyone at random, but we should be able to protect our patch and our family from people who are trespassing and have no right to be on our land.
I would have done the same in this situation, depending on how the attacker came at me of course. If reasonable force without using weaponry was achievable, there could have been another method. But it depends on the situation and how you are best equipped to deal with it at the time.

The whole law system needs a shake up though to make things clear on what we should or should not be allowed to do.

Not so sure we need new laws, just proper interpretation and enforcement of the present ones

I hate to sound like an old fogey, because I'm not even that old but a new, updated version of National Service may be the only deterrent for these scum.
I wouldn't suggest EVERYBODY does the "National Service", but perhaps those who do cause trouble should do a spell on it instead of going to prison or doing Community Service.

This particular news did astound me.
Well put oldfool, but I will stay out of discussions on this matter.

Up to you, SP, but there's nothing wrong with discussing how you feel about important topics. You must have a view on it surely?

I certainly do Floydy, but I will leave that for the real world.

Oh go on, I think that we should all be able to protect ourselves, and our homes, with what is the difficulty!
The law needs defining.

Yes, we certainly do need some new laws or, more correctly, a better interpretation and implementation of those laws we already have.

The most important thing as far as I'm concerned is to make crime - all crime - sufficiently unattractive to the criminal classes.

That means much harsher punishments. The do-gooders and social engineers have had their chance and their wishy-washy solutions are just not working. Our criminals are just laughing at them.

Will it ever happen? No! It's just not British!

Not sure such thing as a "Criminal Class", criminality exists in all echelons of society.
