Good morning Wednesday

Good morning everyone, after a rainy night a rainy day in prospect, the good news being that there shouldn't be a hose pipe ban this year....

Alfie had a minor op yesterday at the vet's and came home quite groggy still from the anaesthetic, but although after a modicum of breakfast this morning he seems back to normal, I think just a short walk and a quiet day for him to fully recouperate is the order of the day.

Enjoy your day folks.

Re: Good morning Wednesday

Good Morning all,

Raining here at the moment - more forecast - and a 40% chance of snow this evening !

I am out for most of the day with friends - not sure where we are going. Just had an email from Amazon - they plan to deliver parcels today - wouldn't you know it - finger crossed that my neighbours will at home.

Enjoy your day what ever you are doing.

Re: Good morning Wednesday

Good morning everybody.
Yesterday I managed to convince my minder that I could make it round the post office to post an urgent letter. I was a bit wobbly but made it ok and was rewarded with being taken to Pets At Home to buy a new cage for Trance the budgie. So that's my job today to transfer him to the new cage. 🐦

Good morning all back to the rain today after yesterday’s touch of Spring.

I have a doctor’s appointment shortly, then a bit of shopping to do on the way home.

Enjoy your day everyone...

Good morning everyone. Fine here at the moment.

Husband has a hospital appointment and then I'll treat him to lunch at a new place that's recently opened.

Have a good day

Re: Good morning Wednesday

Good morning everyone raining again so more plowing through the mud.
The lambs were funny this morning, they have formed 'gangs' and were chasing each other through the flooded field.

Children can be so annoying, I had a text from my son last night to say he 'might' come to lunch, I hate not knowing what I am doing.

Enjoy your day

Barry pleased to hear Alfie is ok, I am sure he could do with a bit of sun to lay in .

Re: Good morning Wednesday

Good morning everyone

Yes raining in Yorkshire too, the little stream that runs through my garden is white water this morning with all the water running into it from the moors, water can be scary.

Not sure what I will do today nothing planned, but I might go searching the garden centre for a pot for the box plant I grew and its still waiting for a new home.

Have a good day everyone.

Re: Good morning Wednesday

Good morning all.
Talking of rain, yesterday I had a chiropractic appointment in the next town, and decided to go along the main A6. All was well.
But coming home, I thought I'd take the scenic route through the villages - bad decision!
The first village was cut off with floods. I got in alright but couldn't get out the other side.
After turning round in the road and having to go about 6 miles out of my way to another route, I came across the next village cut off also.
The Nene was well up over the road and flooding over the bridges, so again I had to turn round and try a third route. Took me ages to get home, there is water laying everywhere here and with more rain forecast today.
Think I had better stick around town today.
