What changes would you make?

If you were to live your life over again, but were permitted to make some changes, what would they be?

I would have wished my birth family to have been non religious, as the god bit spoilt my childhood. I also wish my husband hadn't had a burst aneurysm, which caused him brain damage. Apart from that I don't think I have done too badly.

Tara, I would wish my twins were not born premature, it was such a trauma and I nearly died. That's it really.

I would not have got married at 19 and would have gone into property development instead of graphic design.

I would have loved to go to university in the days when it wasn't so available, but my parents couldn't have afforded it. On the plus side, I probably wouldn't have met my husband, so all is well.

Hi

I would like to have been born with an aversion to tall Slim Blondes.

The bane of my life.

Re: What changes would you make?

I fell in love with a man 40 years ago, it's a long story but he never wanted to settle down so I got on with my life and had 2 good marriages, but he was always in the back of my mind!
Thirty years later, when I was free to do as I wanted he came back and asked me to marry him. I spent more time with him then and realized that he would never have made me happy...so I said "No" to his proposal.
Looking back, I think that I would have rather never met him!

The trouble is that some events change our outlook on life so, if some events were removed, would we really be happier?

Re: What changes would you make?

The one change I would make would be never to have left London. I was born in London and my mum and day moved up here when I was about 10. I was so homesick. Would life have been different if we had stayed - I think it would.

I tend not to dwell on the things that might have been.

I have been happy with my man, my children and my life, so no I wouldn't change anything.

I wouldn't have tried to have babies, that wasn't best time of our lives.
