News on Cutting Calories

Heard the news this morning, saying that they are cutting out all the calories and smaller portions in Microwave dinners, packed sandwiches and snacks.
But they are not reducing the price.

Hi

The UK has an obesity crisis,costing us tens of £Billions a year.

The aim is to cut calories in processed foods and fast food by 20%.

A lot of the calories in these foods are added fats,put in to keep costs down.

Lean meat costs more than fat, prices will rise.

Whatever happens, you can bet it will benefit the food manufacturers more than the consumer.

How many obese people have you heard say....... I don't eat that much, it's just that i've got heavy bones.
