I had a nice siesta

Slept from around 12:30 to 4, listened to the heavy wind outside, too. I do enjoy a siesta when I've nothing better to do and today, because of no public transport couldn't go to the hospital. They are rearranging my appointments for next week.

I understand people who don't go to sleep during the day, but when you're a bit run-down it's a great tonic.

I also go to bed early, 9, 10ish but listen to podcasts or music until I feel sleepy.

One thing I never seem to do these days is lie-in, 8:30 is about the latest I'll ever get up, often much earlier.

I didn't sleep but no matter, my body and mind were resting.

Ffosse, I said before that I never nap....guess what, I made a liar out of myself yesterday.

Had a bad headache, took an aspirin, laid down and fell asleep in the middle of the day.....And then the trash truck came by.

true, they make so much noise banging those trash containers around I swear they do it cause they hate their job.

With all the snow here, everything is hushed outside although I can hear a few children playing in the distance.
