What was the worst food you were made to eat as a child?

Tripe i think but I wasnt keen on fish either, I ate what i was given though if i didnt no alternative would be offered.

I think i must be the only person on earth who even as a kid loved sprouts

The rule was - we had at least to taste everything we were given - if we really disliked something it could be left - but not exchanged for anything else.

Wasn't too fond of liver either.
Loved fish though.
And sprouts - yummy!

Nobody MADE me eat anything but I really hated milk and I remember this one time a teacher at school tried to make me drink some.

I was nearly sick all over her.

Runner beans. Mum once said you're not leaving the table till you eat them. I refused, cried, and haven't eaten them to this day.

And malt extract. Yeuk!!!! (Yet I adore marmite...strange, isn't it?)

Milk gave me terrible stomach cramps i still drank it though and suffered in silence. It wasnt understood then about reactions to dairy products, i dont have it these days .

I hated Rabbit Stew, just the smell of it made me sick.
