Intimidated?

The word "intimidated" has come up in my conversations twice in the last day.

In the first, my neighbor mentioned that she rarely goes out because she is intimidated by traffic.

In the second, a friend mentioned that she thinks my niece isn't dating because young men are intimidated by her success and looks.

What's intimidating you?

Nothing,I’m glad to say .
I hope your niece is confident enough not to be intimidated .
Perhaps enough to ask a man she likes for a date ?

Re: Intimidated?

To be honest.....nothing intimidates me and hasn't since my late teens.

Then again....even my nightmares are scared of me.

Ok, the real truth now twinks is one who does....little dogs...and French women.

Re: Intimidated?

People in my personal space when I don't want them to be, especially dentists.

People who are more intelligent than me, which is just about everyone

One of my neighbours, the one with the really scary dog, I have to creep out the back and around the building to avoid her when I take my dogs out.

Re: Intimidated?

I've found since I've lived in Germany there are a lot of Germans try to intimidate people with their intelligence or knowledge. I find it amusing and try to baffle them with my ignorance.
