Morning all and sundry, lovely bright and mild morning here in Sherwood. As it's Monday we've already mopped and shopped, now just enjoying steaming cappucino prior to walkies with hound, before preparing pork chops for lunch. I get the feeling I might just need a siesta after that.....

What a beautiful start to the day, wall to wall sunshine and not a cloud in sight!

The morning shopping has been done and Mr Dyson has done 'his' job on the carpets. Hope to have a tidy up in the garden later.

Don't forget tomorrow is Shrove Tuesday and mouthwatering Pancake Day!

Happy Monday!!!!! I guess I'm sadistic toward all those poor individuals still starting their work week.

I'm heading to Vernonia, OR today to pick up a stack of custom T-shirts I had made for my friends. I really need to take my scooter to try & save money on gas. Our gas prices have gone bonkers here and we're racing toward the $4 a gallon mark. I know that doesn't mean much to most of you as you've been living with much higher gas prices for a long time. The thing that angers me is that there is no shortage just an opportunity for oil barons to gouge the public one more time. I wish the government would fix the prices they could charge based on supply & demand.

The scooter gets 70 mpg where my economical car gets 40 mpg. I have plenty of room on the scooter to carry home those shirts. I'll get in my rain gear as there's a chance for rain. What a surprise!

Hi, all! Sunny and cooler here. 2 C (36 F), March winds doing their thing: extremely windy. Most of the heaviest rains bypassed the City. Nothing special going on; accidentally stabbed myself in the hand in the kitchen yesterday, sore but looks OK.

Agree with Bob about gas prices; as a non-driver doesn't affect me immediately but the bus/subway fares will go up as will shipping on all the things I order on line. Bah!
