Get You!

I was in my local Shop last night, and I heard a Geezer say the one phrase that really narks me for some reason. It is usually said by Blokes, predominantly in the 18-35 age bracket, instead of saying "could I have", they say "could I get",,,, Could I get a Packet of Fags, Could I get a Bar of Chocolate, I dunno could you?

He got exactly what he asked for, the Shopkeeper had to humour him, we need Basil Fawlty in charge of our local shop.

Us Canucks always add the please Spitfire....it is ingrained in us from the time we utter our first words
