Can you laugh at yourself?

I think being able to laugh at yourself is a virtue, it is far better than taking yourself too seriously.

Being such a daft old bat there is plenty to laugh at as my family will tell you!

Thank-you Tara a lovely thread.
Yes, I can laugh at myself. I am so clumsy I could trip over my own shadow.

Hi

I always make fun of myself, it saves others the time and trouble.

Yes and with my disabilities I have a lot to laugh at, my mind gives us a few laughs too.

I can. Being from Hull we tend to take the proverbial urine out of ourselves anyway, so no harm done there. I can laugh at certain situations too which seem to me to escalate completely out of proportion sometimes

Yes indeed!
I'm the first one to tell a tale against myself in my family...this weekend I've been telling my little grandson about all the times I've been in trouble (virtually all my life!!!)... his eyes were round with wonder

Great thread subject Tara, should be lots of fun
