Got to admit UJ, i find this rather gross in a country that finds the use of enforced starvation of its disabled via sanctions as normal.

Our priorities are warped

I agree with what you are saying but some of these eating competitions are organised to raise money for charities.

Although it dosen't help the poor people caught up in the disgraceful treatment of the disabled. This government are totally heartless and vicious.

Re: Where's mine???

Leaving aside government bashing and poe faced accusations of Evil .. what was it for?
Was it for charity or just to get into the record books.

I found it pretty revolting to watch. I doubt I eat that much in a week never mind in one big pig out.

Really? And what about all the other outrageous waste of foods that the supermarkets are guilty of. Dumping food when they could give it to food banks. They would rather dump it than give it away.
I really think food competions to raise money for charity is a mere drop in the ocean compared to all the lavish parties and banquets that are thrown by politicians and Royalty.

A little perspective wouldn't go amiss.

Not sure what that was for. But I do know some eating competions are to raise money for charity. I couldn't gorge myself like that either, no matter what it was for.
