A&E By Ambulance
Feeling unable to breathe very well during the night I finally rang 111, they were very good, not like last time I rang them when they asked loads of questions, they asked a few questions, patiently repeating /explaining what was said/meant if I did not hear/understand, then said they were sending an ambulance for me.The ambulance arrived quickly and the crew examined me then decided to take me to Hospital. For some unknown reason we spent a whole hour in the ambulance outside my house before setting off for Hospital,I think they must have been told to hold back, but I was treated with oxygen . Ther were 3 other ambulances outside A&E when we got there, but there was no sign of the over crowding/panic that has been shown on tele, patients were put into cubicles and soon seen by a nurse. I arrived aprox. 6.45 am, had chest xray, and 4 blood tests ,then seen by a Dr before coming home again by 1pm
