A&E By Ambulance

Feeling unable to breathe very well during the night I finally rang 111, they were very good, not like last time I rang them when they asked loads of questions, they asked a few questions, patiently repeating /explaining what was said/meant if I did not hear/understand, then said they were sending an ambulance for me.The ambulance arrived quickly and the crew examined me then decided to take me to Hospital. For some unknown reason we spent a whole hour in the ambulance outside my house before setting off for Hospital,I think they must have been told to hold back, but I was treated with oxygen . Ther were 3 other ambulances outside A&E when we got there, but there was no sign of the over crowding/panic that has been shown on tele, patients were put into cubicles and soon seen by a nurse. I arrived aprox. 6.45 am, had chest xray, and 4 blood tests ,then seen by a Dr before coming home again by 1pm

Well, I am glad you are home deylon.
How frightening struggling for breath.
I think 999 if you feel that way again.
You were looked after well, and then they checked for everything, that is good to hear.
I hope you are feeling better now.

Hope you are feeling much better now deylon. Sounds like you were well looked after.

Sorry to hear this Deylon. Glad you're back home again and didn't have to hang around waiting in a corridor for hours.
Hope you are feeling better.

Deylon....always a scary time, you want answers and must wait. May the prognosis be good.
