Ha huh!
Mice are ok when there's just one.
But there's never just one!
The little darlings always migrate from the fields to our lovely warm house in the winter.
I would share with them if they didn't chew through everything!
So, do what ya gotta do.
But don't , just don't, look at their eyes! The little buggers have that pleading look down to an art!
Why not catch it in a humane trap and release it in the country fields in your area? It is easy and the mouse can continue to live it's life.
Sorry, but I have to say this.
We've been there, done it.
Some times, it plain doesn't work!
In the winter time, they're gonna go where it's warm.
End of.

I think they will find it hard to find somewhere warm where you live LMB, but here they can always find a cosy shed or barn. 14 years ago I removed 5 from my house, via humane mouse traps and released them in my field yet none came back..... although I haven't checked the barn or pig pen!
