Chinese Paint Brushes
Adanac, Here are The Brushes that I use
Chinese painting started about 2,000 years ago on silk in China
It is a different method of Watercolour than Western Art with special brushes that hold a lot of water and organic Chinese paints
It does take time to learn and some strokes have to be practised for months
My Chinese Art teacher had to do Bamboo for a year
You are allowed to copy the Masters and use black ink which you grind with an ink stick.
It is like a form of meditation when painting.
You will find lots of demos on YouTube.

Azure, I really do admire your work, certainly can see the skill needed. I wish I could do something like that but I do know my limitations. I can only draw a straight line with a ruler.
But do love to look and admire the work of others.
Many famous Artists use rulers and other aids to draw straight lines.
