I'm from outer space !

I've often been told I'm from a different planet, could this be why ?

I found this bit particularly interesting:

On many of his highs my dad always said he was from out a space, we all were apparently. He read a book popular at the time and believed every word the man wrote. Was very embarrassing for us girls as he was always telling our friends parents about it. Became quite isolating for us. So any suggestion like this makes me feel very cold and anxious.

It's funny how things can come back to you like that.

I wouldn't worry about it Julie. I feel quite pleased to think that when people say I'm from another planet, I can tell them "quite possibly".

I hope you're not trying to tell me I'm going to be abducted Longdogs. I don't mind being an alien but I don't want to be abducted back to a spaceship.

It's not as silly as it sounds though. Who's to say we weren't visited by aliens at some point in the past, in fact, we could all be aliens.

Funnily the idea of being alien doesn't bother me it is remembering the way dad went.

No reason you should go the same way Julie, at least I don´t think so. I quite like the idea of being an alien, it can be useful as an excuse for all kinds of things.
