Polar Bears v Robins

Well, the Polar Bears have it with a lead of two over the Robins.

What do I mean ? Christmas card pictures ! Robins are a perennial favourite of course but we noticed this year we had a sudden aurora (collective noun) of Polar Bears on display.

To be fair the lead might technically be one because for the first time in many years we had a duplicate card. Strangely they were from next door and next door to them, both Polar Bears from M&S.

Only one ‘religious’ card this year.

Anyone else notice any trends ?

Ours will be taken down on Saturday

I suppose it's a change from cute teddies with fat tummies. Had enough of them.

Some could be charity cards .

I received some very pretty cards this year, many with a snowy theme and only a couple of robins.

Religious theme .. two !

I received mostly robin and holly and poinsettia cards this year.

I was given a lovely polar bear tin of shortbread biscuits though .... the bear can be used as one of next ...oops... this year's decorations.

Re: Polar Bears v Robins

This year, six Robins and two Polar bears.

I thought this thread might have been like Alien versus Predator, in which case I would have put my money on the Polar Bears.

Re: Polar Bears v Robins

Christmas trees and carol singers won here only one robin and no polar bears. Four religious ones but they all came from Sally Army chums so to be expected.
