Re: Liverpool car park fire

How awful. There do seem to be a lot of fires lately, I hope they are not deliberate.

Re: Liverpool car park fire

Think of all the road space now available. 1400 cars at say 10 ft long = 14,000 ft more road space. Not to mention those extra parking spaces.

At least I don't think anyone was hurt thank goodness. metal can be replaced, people can't

Re: Liverpool car park fire

Very fortunate that no person or horse was hurt but very sad for many.

There are people from all over the country, Ireland included and could well be people from abroad with it being the Liverpool International Horse Show.

A logistical nightmare for a lot of people !

Wondering if the trains are running ? They weren't yesterday , up here.

Well if they didn't have insurance they deserve all they get. Hell of a blow though isn't it?!

Re: Liverpool car park fire

Why would there be horses in a car park?

Presumably in their horse boxes for the horse show? As I haven’t read The article I don’t know whereabouts the horses were kept in relation to the proximity of the car park, but obviously they needed to be moved for their safety.

Has there been mention of people not having insurance ? I haven't read that or heard it from anywhere.

There were horse vehicles on the bottom level of the car park, maybe not all. It's an 'events stadium' car park where the ground level can take taller vehicles .It could have been some of the smaller horse boxes parked there.
