Good morning Monday Jan 1st 2018

Good morning everyone and welcome to the first day of the new year.

Mild and dry out there at the moment and a pleasant day ahead I reckon, so I may get out in the garden later and turn the compost heaps for a bit of exercise and fresh air.

Yesterday was not not good, today is going the same way.

Tomorrow I am booked in for an operation.late afternoon, staying overnight.

I cannot see it happening, yet another cancellation.

Happy new year everyone.

I was in bed by 10pm as I get up very early.... but I didn't get much sleep The fireworks started around 10.20pm and continued till around twenty to one. I had to get up and comfort my five cats three times but we managed to get to sleep by 2am.
I was up at 5.30 so I expect I will need an afternoon nap today, but I always wonder how Mums with babies cope, with all the firework noise.

I go to bed early but keep the radio on till just after midnight.

And was up about 5 as usual. (But not washed or dressed.)

Mums, babies and cats mostly seem to survive.

Good morning 2018, pinch, punch first day of the month.

Dry and mild outside.

I was up at 6am as usual, Cat got us up 5 times in the night, so not much sleep.

Hope you get your operation done this afternoon Swimmy.

I only heard a couple of fireworks go off last night.

Good morning all, And a Happy New Year to everyone.
I stayed up as usual, but I never get up till 8 being a lazy so and so. but I'm usually up till 11.30 most nights.
I heard some fireworks, but not after I'd got into bed.
Supermarket shopping for me as I do every Monday. Otherwise I've nothing planned.

Happy New Year everyone. Its not often we don’t see the New Year in but our friends are poorly with the flu so we were out on our own and came home early and went to bed.

It’s a bit overcast here this morning but hope it will cheer up enough to get out for a walk this afternoon. Not much else planned. Hope you all have a good day.
