Improvements that aren't
Just had a conversation with a young lady rather devastated that her private images are being handed around the Internet. She asked how we 'oldies' kept ours private, my answer if you had to take your pictures to boots or a chemist to get printed you made sure they were all good clean wholesome fun.Digital photography a modern day wonder that has caused more problems than its older counterpart.
I'm sure there must be more things that have improved but aren't as good have you come across any ?

The Motor Car......I could do any repairs from replacing a spark plug to putting in new 'Big Ends' now I lift up the bonnet and hardly recognise anything in there......And it cost a fortune to get a garage to do what I used to do for a fiver....
And the driver was in charge, now the headlights come on when it gets dark, the wipers come on when it rains, it reverses into a space all by itself, and it even directs you up roads that you shouldn't really drive down.....

Well my homemade bread tastes fantastic!
It all comes down to understanding of the processes and techniques
You need to visit a proper local artisan bakery to get the proper bread taste or else learn how to make such loaves yourself.

Longdogs, you are right. I read a complaint that true high fidelity sound has been replaced by compressed audio in mp3 files played on earbuds or headphones for walking around with that just cannot come near the quality of how the music should sound.
