What gorgeous weather, Clumsy. Is it strange having sun & warmth this time of year?

Re: Christmas morning

Thank you Tiffany, Meg and lmb. Christmas day was indeed a lovely day, the temperature got up to around 22C (I think). It does go very cold once the sun begins to go down and today we've had a bitterly cold wind all day.

It was really nice at Playa Flamenca, quite a few people around, some in the sea, strange to think that approximately half a mile away, probably less if you walk along the walkway, there were over 3,000 people crammed on the beach, all dressed up, brass bands, picnics and goodness knows what else.
I'm glad we couldn't get there, all those people........nightmare !

Edited to add... No, I don't find it strange Tiffany. Until we left UK we spent every Christmas abroad in far flung places, and had a brilliant time in all of them, occasionally "odd" but always fun and we always met some really great people.
