How about!

Yes how about a nice large juicy Lamb shank for Christmas dinner that's what i will be having I know Turkey is the thing at Christmas but i love Lamb certainly beats Turkey well it does for me anyway. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL!!

I love lamb and would have it for Christmas lunch, but there is a problem. I would have a family rebellion on my hands as I am the only one who likes it. (not counting the dogs)

I decided once to have a nice steak mushrooms veg and potato's for Christmas Lunch for myself. It was very nice but I must admit it didn't feel like a proper Christmas lunch.
It was the same when 2nd wife and I stayed at a hotel for Christmas. Awful time, didn't feel like it was a proper Christmas. Then again if she hadn't been there it might have been more bearable.

We are having both, Turkey crown and leg of Lamb. Two people wanted Turkey and two wanted Lamb, so we are having them both. I prefer the Lamb, I don't care if I never see Turkey again.
