Valentine's Day?

Do you give and receive a Valentine's Card?

Did one ever lead to serious romance?

Apparently in the News, a young lad of 18 years old gave his 17 year old sweetheart a Valentine card and then went to war in 1941. They later married and now 70 years later, they still use that same Valentine Card between them. That is placed on their mantle-shelf.

Hubby and I exchange new Valentine cards every year. I am cooking him a nice meal tomorrow. He has bought me a present and I will get him a little something. It's just our little way of celebrating the occassion.

We don't bother with Valentine cards anymore - I do receive flowers though.

Re: Valentine's Day?

I might seem a bit out of synch.with the majority here and I may appear a killjoy, but I don't want my OH to bring me flowers/gifts on Valentine's day and I don't give anything to him.
