Species

Which is the most Intellegent species?

Some humans have the audacity to think humans are but compared to other species.

Most other species can move around on their own on the first day, how long is it before humans can get around on their own?

Most others can feed themselves within a few days, humans!! it takes years.

Washing, several days for most species, humans, some never learn how to wash properly, the same goes for grooming.

Love, love from an animal is genuine they do not know the word deceitful.

Throw a infant animal into a water and most likely it will swim ( of a fashion ) to the side, throw a human baby into water and it will sink.

Most species go away from trouble and danger, Humans!! Hey!, lets go there for a holiday.

Most other species dont bite the hand that feeds them, only humans tend to do that.

Protecting their own species, most other species do it within weeks of being born, humans, rarely in their lifetime, they tend to kill their own species.

So, which do you think is the most intelligent species.

Re: Species

I believe in evolution and also believe that when humans decided to take a side branch from the monkeys & apes, the branch broke!
So much for being stewarts of the earth!
We never learned (or maybe forgot) the natural instincts we started out with.
My vote is, and always has been, with the animals.

Re: Species

For many reasons my vote has got to be with the humans.

Re: Species

The animal world is stunning in it's intensity and variety, and the instincts built in to many species is awesome. However, if we are talking real intelligence then it has to be the human, but how he applies his intelligence is another matter altogether, for it is often questionable, and certainly open to improvement!

Were you the one who said hello, scratched your armpits and gave me a banana or were you the one who set my bed on fire

I am not sure about that Uncle Joe. Ants don't behave as individuals but can only function as a community. On their own they are not much use to themselves.

For the good of the queen I would think, so that she can re-produce.
