Are fridge magnets naff

I'm beginning to wonder - nobody I know have any but I have 48 stuck all over my fridge/freezer.

I like to bring one back from places I visit.


What do you reckon? Are they naff?

I don't have any magnets, I think they are unhygienic and dust gatherers .
I don't like clutter of any kind...

Oops ..... I have fridge magnets from all the countries we have visited They may be naff bit I like them

I had a load of them mostly from places Family had visited,and ones from G/Ks telling Me what a wonderful granny I am,lol...now they're all in a box in a drawer...just couldn't be bothered with them every time I cleaned the fridge..but couldn't throw them out either.

Who cares I don't have any but I have pictures all over the appliances tacked on with magnets. Inspirational daft or funny or from holidays and the caravan. If anyone doesn't like what you have carol why would it matter to you, you are an individual !

I think they were brilliant for keeping my grandchildren happy.
Nowaday though the kids are bigger and my fridge is bare apart from one that is on the back of a note pad. It is used as a cushion to stop the back door handle denting the side of the fridge.
Mine would play with the magnets for ages sliding them about the side of the fridge and making patterns and faces.
Not to sure about collecting dust mine were always being moved about.

I don't think they are naff. But i don't have any these days. They suit some kitchens and look quite cheerful. But they wouldn't go with a minimalist, kitchen where everything is built in and shiny. Not a crumb out of place

No never had a fridge magnet. I do have a magnetic hook on the fridge door on which hangs my tea towel. Apart from the clock on the wall, no other bits and pieces. I like a clear kitchen, everything away.
