Does any item on Black Friday entice you?

Looking at the various deals on different sites I can see nothing that I'd want. I'm not tempted by stuff and had a clear-out earlier this week.

I'm sure it will be the same with the Christmas sales.

No we buy when we need not when companies want to get rid of hard to move lines.

Do you sometimes wait for an item you need to go down in price?

I've done this with some success before as companies often routinely reduce prices for a few days or weeks before bumping the price back up. I did this with a vacuum cleaner before - it was a new one I needed but not immediately.

Black Friday sales are aimed at gullible punters .....

Some products are frequently discounted throughout the year, so may not be on sale for their best price on Black Friday, and others have had their prices inflated in advance in order to make their sale prices seem misleadingly tempting.

It's only a bargain if you need it.

If we can but often it's a vital thing worn out we need to replace asap.
