Skin a rabbit

Was just taking Betty's (chihuahua) jumper off after our walk and did as I always do high voice come on then skin a rabbit and she puts her little arms up for it to be pulled over head.

Grace said behind me for a vegetarian that's a blood thirsty thing to say, made me think where does that saying come from and why was it so popular, it's pretty gruesome !

Oh I wonder if that's why my husband left scouting, I can't imagine he'd like that at all. He's never said why he left its all shrouded in mystery.

If you actually read Baden Powell's "Scouting For Boys" it is quite scary in parts, certainly would not be accepted in the modern age.
