I used the same program on Google but to translate emails I started to get from a lady from Thailand and also to reply to her. You can copy and paste.

Re: Does anyone read Arabic ?

Thanks, I will have a look at those links.

Someone wants to write a true story , so it would probably need some editing too. Those would be a start and to see how it went.

Thanks again..

It will need a lot of editing....the translation will be rough, to say the least and may not make much sense.

Lost in translation.

This was really my main thought. Not having a clue about the language , I assume the different expressions figures of speech etc, could be enormously difficult.

No worries, it's something that can either be done or not be done.

Maybe it could be something a University student might be able to help with. We'll see what happens, but being a true story , it would be awful and even unforgiveable, to get it wrong.

If your using Google or Bing translate to convert Arabic to English and you're using copy and paste to get the text, you will have to copy and paste from right to left.

As a matter of fact, Google Translate did that automatically:

صباح الخير

And what's more, I copied the Arabic into GT and it translated it back to English.

Try it!
