Good Morning All.

Been up all night with problems with my son.

The time difference is not good, but my Mandarin is improving.

My heating has also packed up, so have to get the experts in.

The good news is that the swelling from my infection has gone down, I can eat some solids and have a shave.

I no longer look like an elderly ISIS terrorist.

Fleeting visit today - have to go to the 'techy guys' workshop and collect my revamped computer, then some friends are coming to have lunch, after that I will be setting up said computer and coming to grips with the beast that is 'WINDOWS 10' Argghhhhhh !!!

Morning.

Hoping to get out shortly to see what queues are like at my closest clinic for a fasting blood test. If too long, I'll come back home. It's right next to the main line station into London so could well be busy with commuters getting their tests done before getting into work.

If I can't hang about at this one...I have to think of plan B!

It's going to be dry in my parts so I have a walk planned with my friend Chris.

I told her I was ready to tackle some hill walking since I had the steroid injection but she's not feeling so lively herself so I don't think we'll be doing anything that's too energetic.

I'm off to the Pub at lunchtime to see our friends.

Still got my tiling man here. He wanted to finish today, but everything has taken longer than anticipated.

Dogs to walk, a trip to the tip, then food shopping after that.

Morning everyone, light rain overnight now cleared and looks like being a decent day.

More work in the loft for me fixing new load bearing timbers into place to support the new floor. Heavy section timber but I've got it all cut and prepared so today should get the hardest part of the job over with.

My internet connection is playing up, I might have to investigate a new modem.

Back! You'll never believe this...I was first!! Goodness, that's never happened to me.

I got worried, thinking I'd got it wrong. However, the caretaker opened up early, then sodded off home! The phlebotomy room was locked and they had to wait for someome else to turn up who knew where the key was. And no tickets were outside so there we were, all standing in a long line that must have snaked outside the building. The seats soon filled up.

Didn't have to wait long and I nipped into Tescos next door for my newspaper, then went into Lidl for some rolls and to look at the new lines.

Home before 9. Had my toast and now to enjoy my coffee and tablets. Cheers!
