Do you have a case on your mobile?

I had a gel case on my previous phone but sold it and recently got an Iphone 8 which is slippier than wet soap in my hand.

So I got a red leather case for it from the Apple store.

Trouble is, it's still almost as slippy. Will the leather become grippier over time?

What cases/protection do you have on your phone?

A red leather case, as red is my favourite colour Dreamy.
Never had a problem with it being slippy mind.

My Nexus phone is encased in a hard protective shell and has prevented damage to my phone on a number of occasions.

I have a leather case with little Owls all over it.

I know a gel case is grippy but I sold it together with my last phone.

I don't want to change the red leather as I like it.

I've a pale faux leather case with teeny butterflies and unicorn ps all over it in pink and purple. It has slots to hold credit cards in it so I carry it instead of a purse these days.

Yes. And for what it's worth, I have a spare case with different colour paw prints all over it too. So there!

The sales people in Tesco advised me to get a gel case for my phone because if dropped, it absorbed the impact better than other materials.

That's probably true. I must be lucky and have never dropped my phone outside but it's rarely used, mostly stays in my pocket streaming music. I'm keeping the case as I've nothing else that's red, I kind of like it.
