I did wonder, how they proved entitlement, then l read it’s all done on trust!
I wonder how many women tell a little fib to get discount, or does the bar owner keep a chart on the wall?!!

It's stupid Art, and what about the women who are irregular anyway? The ones who come on 3 weekly, or 6 weekly or have 2 in one month? Crazy idea.

It must be to overcome the prejudice that exists towards menstruating women. In Orthodox Judaism are still treated as unclean and have to stay separate during that time. So it's relevant to the location it's in. In any case, alcohol and periods don't go well together IMO.
