English waifs ?

Tonight I saw an old photo of two little girls (WW2 ? England?). from Madamenotmiss photo album. Poor little waifs look starving. I wanted to fed them. What ever happen to those poor little girls ?

Random photos from members past and present that appear on the home page of the site. The photos change every few moments, sometimes you catch a really interesting one.
You can always go into that poster's profile and leave a comment under the photo. Sometimes you find it's several years old!
That particular poster has a great collection of Victorian photos and photos from the American civil war.
