What’s your favourite kind of shop?

Today I had to get a prescription fillled so headed to the local chemist which is a totally independent. I was greeted by name, asked if I needed anything else and was pointed to the chairs to sit and wait

Sit I did not

This chemist is a wonderland of beautiful and needed things

I browsed

Cosmetics , hair coulorants, dyes and implements
Looked at candles and room smellies
Smiled at memories of the 99p toys for kids
Stood and read the bumf of a whole host of medical products
Printed a photo from my phone

Seriously it was like a department store and 10 mins passed all too soon

What’s your favourite store and why?

I'm a man so I don't really have one although I quite like browsing through the Screwfix catalogue.

Ooh, and Costa if that counts?

Don’t get me started on hardware shops

Where I get the animal feed I could stay a day

Just the smell takes me back and the guys in mine love nothing more then to talk you through each item if they have crafted it themselves

I hate all shops, so online for me, except for groceries which I get from Lidl. Not a pleasure, a necessity. I had to go to Costco today, to get my eyes tested. I had planned to browse around and maybe do some early Christmas shopping, but got fed-up, so gave up after ten minutes and came home.

I know what you mean about the smell in a hardware shop. We have one locally, a really old fashioned hardware shop and it's great but you do get coffee and doughnuts at Screwfix.

The Local Garden Centre is just like a Modern Department Store

As well as Plants Shrubs and Trees, outside and indoors. Everything for the Garden including Furniture and Green Houses and Fish Tanks with fish. There are Books, Fashions, Shoes, China.Gifts, and Cards.

Also a very good Restaurant /Coffee House.

And free parking.
