Does anyone still read physical newspapers?

I can't remember the last time I bought one.

Online is so much better with a huge choice of sources and is up to date.

I pinch the metro from work occasionally if I have time for a cup of tea. But I don't pay for one.

Absolutely I read the Sunday Times and the local paper .
I like to hold a real paper that I can reread and write on or cut out a bit if I like.

I do both.
Always read the headlines and news online with my first cuppa, and second!
Buy the i newspaper every day. It's brilliant, online you don't get the articles, letters, editorials etc. that are so interesting/amusing/informative.
If I had to choose between the two I'd choose newspaper every time.

Nope, I have the app on my phone. Watch the news on TV.
Only buy a paper on Saturday for the TV guide.

No, haven't bought a paper nor magazine in the last 10+ years. All I buy is the cheapest TV magazine, never read it except for the programme guide.

Re: Does anyone still read physical newspapers?

Yes I do! AND I try to get the free Metro and the Evening Standard when I'm out and about. That's why I am always out to the recycling bins with a bagful!!!!

I've just finished binge reading Thursday, Friday and Saturday's Daily Mail. And got...hang on...Friday's Metro to read, plus I found the supplements (unopened) from the Mail on Sunday dated 8th October.

A colleague always stated my home must be a fire hazard.

And yet, sometimes I'll take a look at Mail Online, just in case I've missed something.

Always....i much prefer the real thing.

The rustle of the broadsheet as I struggle to fold it without missing out the left side of an article is a big part of the enjoyment.
