I have had deep fried cobra with garlic on my travels.

I didn't, but pet Tiger cub and Mongoose used to race one another to get to King Cobras that had dropped from the rafters above.
My Local butcher managed to get hold of a whole Rattle Snake, which I cooked, but got bored trying to pick meat away from the tiny rib bones.
