Re: Tulgey Wood
That's so lovely
My late MIL who I have to admit to only knowing a short time, amazed me that she had poetry published.
It's no longer in print but we have a hand bound copy as a keepsake
What amazes me about it is she left school at 14 and went into service until she met FIL and married. Then she became a wife and mother to 5, her life was the home and church.
I remember sitting talking to her one day and her telling me that all her life her voice was her husbands until he died, when she finally got an education from the library. Her poetry was/is of someone who was really educated, if only through life
