Hard and Soft Water

Do you have hard or soft water in your locality?

Are you bothered either way?

I live in an area of hard water, which obviously has it's problems, BUT when I am staying in areas of soft water, and washing my face or hair in the sink, I find it so frustrating that the merest amount of soap or shampoo makes the entire water so soapy it is so difficult trying to rinse!!!

We have hard water here and don't mind it - I too have experienced excess of soap bubbles while holidaying in soft water areas ....... it's a pain is putting it mildly!

Re: Hard and Soft Water

Good morning lads and lassies. I live in an area with very hard water which can cause all sorts of problems with lime scale. I would much rather live in a soft water area ~ saves money on soap and shampoo.

Waves to "dragon" in particular.

Off for a shower now as I have to go to the doctor today for x-ray results.

Bye for now.

The water we have down here in Dorset is hard, have to use extra soap in the washing machine etc. Whenever I visit my father-in-law in Aberdeen I am amazed how soft it is, nice soft skin after a bath, lucky things.

I'm not sure what kind of water we have here but it's great for shaving, plenty of foam in no time.
