Your WORST Habit Driving?

What do you consider to be your worst (perhaps only) bad habit when driving?

My hubby says it is when I get behind a wheel .....

Its got to be my reversing. I can never judge distance properly looking out the rear window. I've even got a sensor that goes off when getting near an obstacle, but I'm afraid I don't trust the damn thing.

LOL. Crazy isn't it, how we have this technology but don't trust it.

Even when someone is guiding me in for instance, it is sometimes difficult to believe that you are not going to BUMP!

I can't think of a one! Asked my daughter and she doesn't think so either. Perfect driver attitude, that must be my worse driver's habit! I do tend to talk (sarcasticly) to the other drivers, even though they can't hear me, when they are doing something I don't like though.

ROAD RAGE SYNDROME!!!

Only kidding Claire, sounds like a 9/10 because you even asked the opinion of your daughter, but ...... if you could cooly accept others mistakes without sarcasm, then you get 10/10. WELL DONE.

Slam-Dunk
I try my best to do my best at any given time, but then you have folks who have a total disreguard for common driving courtesy-I am a fair reader of lips & gotton crap that wasn't my fault.

Re: Your WORST Habit Driving?

I have to admit I have noticed a deterioration in my driving since I retired and drive much less, in fact I am starting to lose my nerve a bit about getting behind the wheel .

Changing my car didn't help, my beloved old Volvo was put out to grass in favour of a tin box called a Ford Fiesta.

Worst habit? Lack of practise at parking means I don't.... unless I can drive into a space with ease without any manoeuvring I don't park if I can't do this I go home

Have discovered you never use bold with larger letters-slap my hand & get over yourself.
Just wish I could use different colors on letters.

Meg, I totally sympathise, but some folk do not think or realise any deterioration in their driving, which is obviously worse. Quite natural to have your confidence knocked by this.

Have you perhaps considered finding a good recommended Driving School, explaining your thoughts and feelings to the Instructor, and taking one Driving 'Lesson' with them, in order for the Instructor to give you their opinion of your driving skills and responses to driving. They may be able to help, and restore your capabilities, or of course they may confirm. Have you also considered an Automatic car too?

However, whatever you decide to do, you are obviously safety concious.
