First gay marriage in Germany

Today 1st of October saw the first gay wedding in Germany ..
The couple who have been together for 38 were finally able to tie the knot in Berlin today.

Congratulations to them but also to Germany for recognising the rights of gay people to marry.

I'm surprised ... I didn't know they hadn't already legalised it.

I see in the article they mention marriage in a Town Hall.
Have Germany left out churches then?
It is after all the religious element that has created most discord and resistance in other countries.

Yes - good for them. They seem to be a faithful couple who love each other.

Hurrah for the 21st century.

My friends gay son is getting married in a few weeks and it is going to be a big celebration. What is it about gay men that they have so many friends?
