Alternative medicine?

Anyone here use, or have used any type of alternative medicine?

Either Medical Procedures - like Acupuncture
Homeopathy Remedies
Herbal Remedies


Or use the above purely for promoting good health rather than in need for a medical reason.

Hate needles of any sort so u know my ans. about acupuncture.
The rest: Have tried a few but don't care for them.
Everyone's body is different & so I do heat & massage for muscles, for other things I just then try to eat proper & being nice to self.

I am seriously thinking about acupuncture for my lower back problems. I have scoliosis which, as I am getting older, is taking its toll on my lower back and pelvis - but what I would really like is a nerve blocking injection. I had an epidural a couple of years ago, along with a general anaesthetic and the results of that epidural lasted for a long time. It seemed to move the pain off.
