I have one in full bloom in the garden now usually in June/ July.

These are lovely Azure you have captured their fragile beauty.I love poppies too and still have a few hanging on in the garden .

Yes, I like that too Azure.... I particularly like the way they descend into the darker tones near the 'earth' area.
I love poppies and am surprised some are still in flower - mine finished flowering ages ago.
(Actually, I lie I do still have some in flower .... the small Icelandic ones, you know the small yellow or orange ones)
