Ok! We are going out for a meal tonight! I am paying for it all, so no expense spared!!

I am having steak, you choose a chicken dish. Which wine/s do you recommend?
Maybe, you are not fussy which wine you have as these days, anything goes!

Which wine would you normally choose with a meal in a restaurant?

I am at present drinking Merlot or Malbec .
I like Argentine Merlot .
Also South African but not Chilean it's too sour .
For white I like a New Zealand Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.

In a strange restaurant I would always have the "house" wine.

I also enjoy South African wine, but wine is a personal choice and nothing to do with what the experts tell you!

House wine for me too although I would prefer a beer.

A not too dry white wine - I like a Moscato, nice and light on the tongue and not too alcoholic.

It all tastes the same to me. I can tell red from white with my eyes closed but that's about it, and I couldn't care less which I drink with which food.

I drink a wine that's a cross between a muscatel, and a hock....it's called..muck
I dont drink a lot of wine although I know you can get either red...or white,
