It's almost Holloween,so does anyone have a fav from the many horror films down through the years? for me it's the all time classic from[1941-The Wolfman]with the sad Lon Chaney Jr.

Depends what you call a monster film - but hard to beat Psycho for scariness.

Re: Favorite Monster Film?

"The Lost Boys" is probably my favourite but, I like lots of horror movies. "The Grudge" is very good and of course, "Woman in Black".

Re: Favorite Monster Film?

House of Wax with Vincent Price

Pit and the Pendulum Vincent Price ,

I thought he was the scariest out of the other horror actors Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing

There was one film that made a big impression , about a man that had a illness that would send him into a death state but was still alive .
He told several people of his fear of being buried a live , and told them to be absolutely sure he was dead . but also to have an alarm set up where by if he was buried a live he could ring a bell by pulling a string in his coffin .
Well he was buried alive and he was never rescued .

The Exorcist.

Was probably the only movie that put the fear of god in me when I first saw it.

Re: Favorite Monster Film?

The trouble is, none of the horror films scare me any more. I like Bram Stoker's Dracula with Gary Oldman or maybe the original Mummy.
