It's a bit of a dynamite thread isn't it, and I'm not suprised to see it sitting here alone (apart from Azz's star contribution
)I'll nearly always reply "No thanks" automatically when offered tea/coffee/drink/ etc. Then, usually no more than 2 minutes later I realise I did want tea/coffee/drink/etc and have to go and make my own! Don't know what that shows? That I need to think before I speak I suppose
(Azz - as long as there is no eating the result, I don't suppose your bad habit is so bad! You don't do it whilst waiting for the lights to change do you? It feels like every time I look at a man waiting for the lights he is doing some nose gardening!

Whilst we are talking about noses .... my husband does click his nose, he just moves it from side to side and it clicks. It really annoys me, I suddenly hear this clicking and I say to him "are you clicking you're nose!!"

I discovered when I wore contact lenses that I push my glasses up every now and then, I nearly poked my eye out and you do feel just a little silly 
Another thing that has been brought to my attention is that I hang onto my hair when I move my dog in the show ring, people now watch to see if I will do it,
I am not even aware that I do!I've probably got loads more funny little habits

Going back to check the front door is really closed when I have driven 200 yards down the road 
I once came back from shopping in Worcester to find the front door wide open. I had put the catch up and gone back to fetch something pulling the door closed behind me with the catch still up. The wind blew it open.

My funny little habits occur at bedtime-have to go round making sure all electric sockets are switched off-except for fridge/freezer of course
Then I check kettle has water in for morning-double check that front and back doors are locked. Then I sort myself out in the bathroom and then its in to the bedroom. I only use one pillow and that has to be central on the bed and my duvet has to be perfectly straight. I then fall into bed worn out with all the above
Starting to get a bit worried about myself.................
