The ads are personalised to your own search experience and some googlesque assumptions. I think someone here found that conversations in real life led to ad changes on here. So if you are watching a tv programme google may pick up the subject matter via your smartphone google ap and then translate it to your browsing experience.

I think it's wrong, the internet has encouraged these Folks, sending them unwarranted Pop-Ups, it must have been responsible for many a GUI situation.
