Who Wins If You Win?

What would you give family and friends if you won a lot on lotto?

Would you choose an outrageous extravagance or just give them equal gift of money.

Re: Who Wins If You Win?

Hi

My son, who has supported me through thick and thin.

The pretend Grandkids.

Nadi is very bright, I would pay her Uni fees.

Jakob is autistic, he would get a small house to either live in or rent out.

Everything else to my son.

I would choose to give money but a small amount at set intervals as the younger ones would blow it.

Re: Who Wins If You Win?

If I won a million...

£25,000 ish to lordruthio's and my siblings...a one off.
Same to our children initially, but more to come over the years...weddings, house purchases etc etc

Family Trust Fund set up for the future.

Spend loads on the house.

Trips to Australia and adventure holidays elsewhere...squander the rest

I would NOT buy property abroad, a boat, a flash car, emigrate, move house
I would NOT go public (I believe you are given the choice)

Re: Who Wins If You Win?

My daughter and S.I.L are doing well, they now have two shops , so I dont see how i could help them + a very nice home ., The Grand children i would pay for their education needs . My Son will go far , without my help with money , My 4 brother all have shops ,so they have no need for my help ...
I would leave any money to them all after im gone , until then id buy a nice little place out in the sticks just for me and a few more rescue dogs to keep me company....

Re: Who Wins If You Win?

The three children would get the same .. The exact amount would depend on how much I won. Apart from that there's nobody on my gift list.

I only have a family of six, my daughter, sil, son, his wife and two adult grandsons and I would give the whole lot to them. I am too old to need anything.

Re: Who Wins If You Win?

A £million isn't enough to afford you a life of luxury just comfort in the fact you'd have no mortgage or other costly debts.

So, I'll presume £6m....Kids would get a house and a trust fund with a monthly allowance.

My ex I'd give a lump sum to, say £1m(that should guarantee me a cuddle now and then)

Sis would get £100k plus mortgage paid.

I'd treat my close friends with a gift of £50k.

The rest would get a free drink at my farewell, going abroad party.
